Thot: needs schema compilers for real use

I just downloaded Thot and have been playing with it for a couple of hours.
It seems like an extraordinarily powerful tool, but my initial excitement was
rather dampened when I discovered that the compilers for creating new schemas
are not available. For me at least, this reduces Thot to mainly a demo,
because I have very particular requirements for how my documents (sections
with hierarchical numbering), which I suspect could easily be handled by Thot,
but not with the canned schemas supplied with the distribution. Is there any
prospect of releasing the schema compilers within the foreseeable future? I
could easily imagine making Thot my standard word processing application, but
only if I had the ability to define my own schemas.
