Seems that the way Thot manage the keyboard to handle the
whole ISO-Latin 1 character set doesn't work properly with
your configuration.
In order to help debugging the problem could you :
- send me or download to the incoming directory on
hatutu.imag.fr the result of the following commands
"xmodmap" and "xmodmap -pke". Please report their
result on a clean (i.e. before starting Thot) X session
and after starting Thot.

- Try to add the following line to your .Xdefault file

thot*RemapModifiers: no

and restart Thot on a clean Xsession. This way you will
probably loose the extended charset support but maintain
the original keyboard behaviour.

Please send us the result of your tests to help improve Thot,

Thanks a lot for your report,

Daniel
